Instagram is looking for a Product Marketing Manager – Feed & Relevance Lead for the Feed & Relevance team. The candidate will drive the overall marketing strategy for this key product area, launching new experiences that people love and shaping the next evolution of Instagram Feed. The ideal candidate is a seasoned PMM leader who excels at advocating for the end consumer, managing complex projects in a matrixed organization, and cares deeply about the Instagram mission. This candidate has a successful track record of leading a team, influencing product roadmaps, and building, launching, and scaling consumer products.
Product Marketing Manager – Feed & Relevance Lead Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Feed & Relevance PMM team, mentoring and coaching direct reports to be successful in their roles
Build strong relationships with product and business partners to influence and align on objectives and plans, in order to deliver compelling value for the IG community
Develop product positioning and messaging for Feed and Relevance features, considering value proposition, target audience, and wider market implications
Influence product strategy and in-product communications through relevant consumer insights, product acumen, and driving alignment across teams
Develop the overarching launch strategy, including rollout sequencing, creative asset development, and communication goals to best drive awareness and adoption
Oversee execution of go-to-market plans by collaborating with cross-functional teams and identifying synergies and tensions across the Instagram experience
Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those issues
Organize and manage operations for multiple work streams, deadlines, and meetings for large cross-functional teams to drive execution
8+ years of experience launching and growing consumer products for global brands
3+ years of experience managing and leading a team
Marketing experience working across complex product launches
Proficiency in managing communication with internal and external audiences
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
