Position: Product Marketing Engineer Intern/Co-op

Location: Wilmington, MA / Greensboro, NC

The MEMS Technology Group develops products for inertial components and sub-systems that service industrial, defense, automotive and healthcare end markets. This team works on bringing our products to market and engaging with customers to successfully grow the business. In addition, they create information that helps customers know more about our products, our brand, and improve the awareness of ADI within the industry. The team has an opening for a product marketing engineer for an intern or co-op. Key responsibilities include working with a broad team of ADI engineers to create content that can be shared with customers to demonstrate the value our products provide and help them get adopted.

Specific Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include creating content that describe the products we’re making such that it can be shared with customers or publications to improve our business. Responsibilities include learning about the products we are making such that they can make product presentations or advertisements for publications that showcase the differentiation we provide in demanding applications that benefit from motion sensing:

  • Create new content that describes our products that can be shared easily to customers and have them excited about using our products.
  • Support customer engagements
  • Write articles for journals that build awareness of our products and overall brand
  • Support competitive assessments that can be shared with ADI Sales team to demonstrate differentiation we provide

Qualifications

This position is suited to an electrical engineering student with interest in marketing / business or a marketing student with a strong interest in inertial technology. The candidate should be comfortable working with diverse technical teams.

Required:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or a master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Marketing, in at least a third-year equivalent course level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with hardware engineers and engage in technical marketing activities
  • Ability to think creatively on how to capture excitement about products
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills

Desired:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
