This team works on products that focus largely on wireless electronics in the communications, instrumentation, and defense end markets. This role within the team works on bringing our products to market and engaging with customers to successfully grow the business. In addition, they create information that helps customers know more about our products, our brand, and improve the awareness of ADI within the industry. The team has an opening for a product marketing engineer for an intern or co-op. Key responsibilities include working with a broad team of ADI engineers in the business unit and across ADI’s technology teams to create content that can be shared with customers to help our products get adopted with customers.
Primary responsibilities include creating content that describe the products we’re making such that it can be shared with customers or publications to improve our business. Responsibilities include learning about the products we are making such that they can make product presentations or advertisements for publications:
- Create new content that describes our products that can be shared easily to customers and have them excited about using our products.
- Support customer engagements
- Write articles for journals that build awareness of our products and overall brand
This position is suited to an electrical engineering student studying hardware electronics focusing in analog / RF circuit design. They would have basics in filtering, amplifiers, switches, etc found in typical wireless communications. The candidate should be comfortable with working on hardware platforms, making measurements on lab equipment, and knowledge in RF / analog circuit design.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or a master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, in at least a third-year equivalent course level.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with hardware engineers
- Proficiency with wireless electronics and RF Front Ends
- Ability to think creatively on how to capture excitement about products
- Experience with wireless electronics
- Working knowledge of figures of merit for RF wireless electronics
