Parsons is looking for a passionate, energetic, problem solver to join our team as a Product Strategy/Management/Marketing Intern. We are flexible to the timing of the opportunity (could be Spring, Summer season or Fall). You will be mentored by a member of our dynamic, Connected Communities Products team, which is a fast-paced group responsible for defining and driving innovative solutions, technologies and partnerships across all our key markets/sectors – Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, Smart Vehicles, Aviation, Rail & Transit and Integrated Delivery. Examples of our current products include iNET®, DetectWise™, RailPulse, and Intersections.
As a Product Strategy/Management/Marketing Intern, you will contribute by helping the product team gain a better understanding of customer needs, articulating the unique value of the solutions we build, accessing the business opportunity, and defining go to market plans. You’ll get to learn about every facet of a product lifecycle and have the opportunity to partner with product, engineering, research, and marketing teams.

To promote safety and flexibility, this is a remote internship (e.g., video conferencing) and can be done from several locations. The summer internship does not require any travel. Preference for locations: Los Angeles CA, Pasadena CA, Chicago IL, Pittsburgh PA, Centreville VA, San Francisco CA, Washington DC, New York NY, Boston MA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Houston TX, Austin TX, and Seattle WA.

Desired Experience, Skills, Education:
Actively enrolled and in good standing at Top 20 MBA program; other graduate programs also welcomed
BA/BS from notable undergraduate university with distinctive academic performance; Undergrad GPA must be 3.5 or above. Open to diverse majors/concentrations, preference for technology/engineering focused undergrad degree.
Strong oral/written/presentation communication skills as well as strong analytical/spreadsheet skills required
Innate leader, self-initiative, and team player with strong values
Internship experience in Product Development/Management, Market Research, or technical sales highly preferred
Foundational pre-graduate work experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
1) strategy, management consulting, market research
2) finance, accounting, banking, venture capital
3) product development and management
4) marketing management and/or technical sales
The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $100,000.00.
